Jah Rastafari Prayer of Prosperity

Jah Rastafari Prayer of Prosperity

I am forever blessed by Jah, my cup runneth over. From the small to the

big, Jah has the power o release his flow of  abundance my way. Each day I will give what I can of my time, my knowledge, and  wisdom, so that my well will always be full.

Jah blesses abundantly those who give to those in need. Jah blesses abundantly those who serve, work and live by his name, Jah blesses abundantly those with clean thoughts, actions, and deeds. Jah prosper I and I  more and more, as I donate in a consciousness of  love, and unity on the earth plane.

Holy Emanuel I, Haile Selassie I, for Iver, Jah Rastafari.

Read 2x daily.

Psalm of Prosperity

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

Read 3x daily.

  2. Words of a Rasta heart – The words of a Rastafari are his heart. Rasta does not swear or put other people down or gossip, or conspire. These things are not of the faith Rasta speak high, positive uplifting words, knowing Jah is hearing all.

Haile Selassie I Quote #1: Rich sharing with the poor

“...a way of life in which the blessings and benefits of the modern world can be enjoyed by all.”

Haile Selassie I Quote #2: Equality “.

..above all, Ethiopia is dedicated to the principle of the equality of all men, irrespective of differences of race, color or creed.”

Haile Selassie I Quote #3: Discrimination

“...as we do not practice or permit discrimination within our nation, so we oppose it wherever it is found.”

Haile Selassie I Quote #4: Religion

Haile Selassie I Quote #5 : Racism

“…as we extend the hand of universal brotherhood to all, without regard to race or color, so we condemn any social or political order which distinguishes among God’s children on this most specious of grounds.”

Haile Selassie: New way of life speech in full

King Selassie I - Rastafari

way of life. We search for a way of life in which all men will be treated as responsible human beings, able to participate fully in the political affairs of their government; a way of life in which ignorance and poverty, if not abolished, are at least the exception and are actively combatted; a way of life in which the blessings and benefits of the modern world can be enjoyed by all without the total sacrifice of all that was good and beneficial in the old Ethiopia. We are from and of the people, and our desires derive from and are theirs.

Jah Rastafari Prayer of Prosperity

Can this be achieved from one dusk to the next dawn, by the waving of a magic wand, by slogans or by Imperial declaration? Can this be imposed on our people, or be achieved solely by legislation? We believe not. All that we can do is provide a means for the development of procedures which, if all goes well, will enable an increasing measure and degree of what we seek for our nation to be accomplished. Those who will honestly and objectively view the past history of this nation cannot but be impressed by what has already been realised during their lifetime, as well as be awed by the magnitude of the problems which still remain.

Annually, on this day, we renew our vow to labour, without thought of self, for so long as Almighty God shall spare us, in the service of our people and our nation, in seeking the solutions to these problems. We call upon each of you and upon each Ethiopian to do likewise……

Above all, Ethiopia is dedicated to the principle of the equality of all men, irrespective of differences of race, colour or creed.
As we do not practice or permit discrimination within our nation, so we oppose it wherever it is found.
As we guarantee to each the right to worship as he chooses, so we denounce the policy which sets man against man on issues of religion.

As we extend the hand of universal brotherhood to all, without regard to race or colour, so we condemn any social or political order which distinguishes among God’s children on this most specious of grounds.

Blessed Love to each and every one. In the name of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I.

I found you guys really liked my blog post about King Dawitt King of Ethiopia(1507-1540), so I thought I would look up some more information pertaining to Rastafari for you.

I really didn’t know what the Twelve Tribes of Israel meant as it pertains to Rastafari, so I looked it up in a book called…”Rastafari: A very Short Introduction.”

Here is what I learned.

The Prophet Gad (aka Vernon Carrington) , founder of the Rastafari group called the Twelve Tribes of Israel, believed that his mission was to reconstitute the ancient Hebrew tribes that bore the names of the sons of Jacob. Based on their birth month, all the members are assigned to a tribe and associated with a certain characteristic:

I had to read that twice to really get it. I immediately understood that Gad, was a prophet.

Tribe Birth Month Characteristic
Reuben April/Nisan Strength
Simeon May/Iyar Faith
Levi June/Sivan Will
Judah July/Tammuz Praise
Issachar August/Av Zeal
Zebulon September/Elus Order and Compassion
Dan October/Tishri Judgement
Gad November/Heshvan Power
Asher December/Kislev Understanding
Napthali January/Tevet Love
Joseph February/Shevat Imagination
Benjamin March/Adar Elimination

Upon Further Reading:

  • The Twelve Tribes of Israel Mansion of Rastafari was founded in 1968
  • Prophet Gad was reading the bible and receive a call from Jah, to “Reunify the Lost Tribes of Israel”
  • They follow the Hebrew Calendar that Starts in April and ends in March

Beliefs of the Twelve Tribes of Israel:

Jesus Christ vs.King Selassie I

prophet gad twelve tribes

The Twelve Tribes are often dubbed “Christian Rasta’s” because while other Rasta’s tend to repudiate Jesus Christ, associating him with the Jesus of Lubeck, One of “John Hawkins” slave ships, Twelve Tribes members insist that Jesus Christ of the new testament, is the messiah and the only savior of humankind. To them Selassie was a Divine King from the same Linage as King David, Full filling the biblical prophecy, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be”(Genesis 49:10) He was a twentieth Century Representative of Jesus Christ, but he was not the expected messiah who will return in the bodily form in which he ascended into heaven.

This was very interesting for me to read. I had no idea about what the Twelve Tribes of Israel Rastas Believed before today. As for me? King Selassie I has filled up my life with so much beauty wonder and awe. I will leave you on that note. I have a “Jah Rastafari Prayer book” coming out. It should be on amazon.com any day now.

I want to thank you for reading this blog post. Share it if you find it interesting.

King Selassie I & Empress Menen Too. Now that I am older, I find I appreciate my faith a lot more. I really know the true beauty, blessing and wonder of Rastafari.
