Rasta Empress: Wife & Mother
Not ready yet, I just want to know if people like this or not…..Thanks.
A long time ago I started writing this poem called Empress Wife and Mother. It was so beautiful. I owe it to Jah Really. I was so impressed with the Poem, I thought maybe a book would be better. Maybe my Empress out there would appreciate such a book. I do not know here is some of what I am writing right now.
To be a single Empress is different from being a wife an a Mother. There may be some of my ladies out there that would appreciate the guidance. Maybe not, I do not know. but anyway here is some of what I am working on.
Wash your creases TMI!!!
I have met too many women who feel it is ok to jump out of bed in the morning put on some clothes put on some makeup and leave the house. Um no. I do that if it is the weekend…sometimes. But to do this for a whole week…huh? No when a woman wakes up in the morning the first thing she needs to do is get into the shower. Only Jah knows what builds up down below between those creases of in the back crease…lord. Shower in the morning please. It only takes five minutes. Your Kingman will appreciate it.
Wash your dreadlocks
Yes I know sometimes locks get so long we do not want to wash them anymore. But if you want to draw that strength from Jah, you have to wash your dreadlocks. You see caring for the locks is a part of having a relationship with Jah. eEerytime you twist your locks or show love to your locks Jah is there and he feels the love emanating from you. When you wash your locks as an Empress and your hair drys and you have that nice “I am all around clean” feeling, Jah feels it too. He loves you for that. Also King Selassie I and Empress Menen know too. So wash your locks. Once your locks are clean and you have on some clean clothes usually after the Sabbath, this is a good time to hold a nice meditation.
Cleanliness of Heart as Empress
Rasta Empress are deep. We are not your average female of some average Religion. Rasta Empress knows that covering her hair makes her stronger as a person, and that Jah looks on her favorably as doing something just for him. Jah has a way of showing up for those who honor him, when they most need it. By covering your locks you are building a genuine life long relationship with the Most high. A clean heart includes…an Empress who is aware and an Empress who tries. A clean heart means, one who is free of wicked deeds. So when Satan approaches you as he does to us all, to not do something Jah has asked you to do (open the door for that old lady) they we must go against Satan and in favor of Jah. So not doing something for Jah is almost Just as bad as doing something for Satan. (watch that single mother struggle with her stroller up the stairs, and not help her) There are plenty of opportunities as an Empress to keep clean of deeds. Do not do wicked and embrace opportunities to let Rastafari shine. Jah appreciates it.
